How Sextans supports production
Sextans process control software improves quality by ensuring that the appropriate processes are performed in the correct sequence on the right parts.
Sextans takes input information (via RFID, Barcode, etc.) to initialise the exact build or test sequence. This can be either a simple step type (e.g. screen prompt, DC Tool fastening, etc.) or a script based complex process (e.g. ECU diagnostics, machine control, etc.).
Digital work instructions and process control guide operators step by step through complex tasks.
This ensures that operators always follow the right procedures, use the right tools at the right time, enforcing quality standards.
Sextans verifies each step before moving forward: for example the system checks test results and torque values and asks for operator confirmations.
If something needs attention, the system pauses the job until it is resolved.
